Ren’s Story
Rendal Rutledge was involved in music and ministry since birth. His father, Marvin Rutledge. was a pioneer Pentecostal preacher. With his wife, Norma, and children: Rendal, Brenda, Debbie, and Joy, Marvin established churches throughout the South until residing in Pine Bluff, AR. Ren was born into musical talent and soon discovered his own which he dedicated to God till his death in 2017.
He has written hundreds of songs over the course of his lifetime many of which were recorded in Norwich, CT. While on the evanglesitic field, Brother Rutledge sang with his two daughters, Melodie King and Michele Baker. Below is a sample of Ren Rutledge’s music as well as his daughter Melodie’s recordings which she wrote in Norwich also.
